Flocks Pro
Flocks Pro is the Pro upgrade and license management module for Flocks. It is used to complete cloud account login, upgrade applications, approval status tracking, Pro component installation, License synchronization, and authorization status viewing locally.
1. Purpose
The Flocks Pro page covers OSS-to-Pro upgrades and Pro authorization management.
It mainly includes:
- Cloud account login.
- Submit a Flocks Pro upgrade application.
- View application status and historical applications.
- Download and install the Pro bundle.
- View License status, License ID, expiration time, remaining days, and quotas.
- Synchronize authorization information.
- View machine fingerprint and installation ID.
2. Feature Differences Between Pro and OSS
Flocks OSS is suitable for single-user, local, and community scenarios. Flocks Pro targets team collaboration, enterprise governance, and authorization management. The key differences are:
| Capability | OSS Edition | Pro Edition |
|---|---|---|
| Account system | Single local admin account. | Multi-account system with admin / member roles. |
| User data isolation | One account uses shared sessions and Workspace. | Each user has their own session history and private Workspace directory. |
| Account management | Supports login, logout, and password change. | Supports user creation, role changes, password reset, user deletion, and quota management. |
| Audit logs | No audit log page. | Provides audit for account, authorization, and key system operations. |
| Authorization management | No License management. | Supports License status viewing, synchronization, expiration time, and quota management. |
| Upgrade management | Uses the OSS update process. | Supports Pro applications, approval status tracking, and Pro component installation. |
Note that Pro multi-account mainly isolates personal session history and personal Workspace directories. Platform capabilities such as Agent, Skills, Tools, devices, tasks, Workflow, models, and channels remain shared by the team by default, making centralized maintenance and reuse easier.
3. Cloud Account Login
Before upgrading, complete cloud account login. The page starts login locally, redirects to cloud login, and then redirects back for local confirmation.
Login statuses include:
- Not logged in.
- Logged in to a cloud account.
- Current session is missing cloud account information and requires login again.
After cloud account login is complete, you can submit an upgrade application.
4. Upgrade Application
4.1 Application Types
Upgrade applications can be:
- 30-day trial.
- POC authorization.
- Formal authorization.
The application form usually requires company and applicant name, and can also include email, phone, and application notes.
4.2 Application Status
Application statuses include:
| Status | Description |
|---|---|
pending | Pending approval. |
reviewing | Under review. |
approved | Approved. Upgrade can start. |
activated | Activated. |
rejected | Rejected. |
cancelled | Withdrawn. |
expired_unactivated | Timed out before activation. |
If another application is already in progress, refresh its status or withdraw it before starting a new application.
5. Start Upgrade
After the application is approved, click Start Upgrade. The upgrade process downloads the Pro bundle and installs only the flockspro component. It does not upgrade OSS core.
Typical stages:
- Download Pro bundle.
- Backup.
- Apply update.
- Install Flocks Pro.
- Build.
- Restart service.
- Complete.
After the upgrade installation, the page waits for the service to restart. If restart times out, refresh the page manually later to confirm the status.
